Coral Harbor Launches NJ’s First In-Facility Home Dialysis

Coral Harbor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Neptune City, NJ has opened a state-of-the-art in-facility hemodialysis unit in partnership with Dialyze Direct, making it the first skilled nursing facility in New Jersey to offer home dialysis. Led by nephrologist Dr. Sushil Mehandru, the four-chair unit complements the center’s chronic kidney disease program, including peritoneal dialysis, and can serve tracheostomy-dependent patients. Coral Harbor, recently named one of America’s Best Nursing Homes 2025 by Newsweek, also continues to expand specialty care programs such as its orthopedic recovery initiative, OrthoWIN.
