Behind The Mask – Get to Know Carolyn Zeh, Administrator

During these challenging and unprecedented times, we wanted to share with you stories from our heroes Behind The Mask here at Coral Harbor. We will be continually adding new stories for you to get to know team members here who are dedicated to providing the very best care to residents, their families, and fellow team members.

“Coral Harbor chose me”, the words of Carolyn Zeh, who has been an administrator at Coral Harbor for a year. Carolyn has had a steadfast career in healthcare and worked her way up. “I started in healthcare almost 30 years ago as a social worker and continued to work towards becoming an Administrator,” she says, discussing her experience. “I enjoyed the building of relationships with families and residents in long term care because I wanted to show compassion and kindness to these individuals are in such great need of attention, affection, and empathy in their golden years.”

In the midst of COVID-19, Carolyn reflects on the strength of the staff at Coral Harbor, saying “I am proud to be a part of the Coral Harbor team…. The team has come together during this challenging time, and has embraced the infection control policy and procedures which has assisted us in protecting our residents and staff.”

As for Carolyn and her family, the impact of quarantine has hit them hard. “It has been sad to miss some life events, such as my daughter’s 8th-grade graduation and dance recital. My son is an avid baseball player and I miss watching him play in high school.” Through the tireless measures Carolyn has taken to keep the residents at Coral Harbor safe, there is one thing that has not changed. “I am still committed to providing kindness and caring to every team member, patient, and resident”, she states.
